📦 How Cardboard Is Made

Let’s flatten out the facts and fold in some fun! 😄✨

It all starts with trees! 🌳 Logs are chopped into small pieces and turned into a mushy, soupy mix called pulp. That pulp is then squeezed, rolled, and dried into thin, flat sheets of paper.

But cardboard isn’t just flat paper—it’s got layers! 📄🌀
Cardboard is made by sandwiching a wavy layer (called fluting) between two flat pieces of paper. This makes it strong, bendy, and perfect for holding stuff like toys, books, or treasure maps! 🗺️📦

Big machines press and glue all the layers together, then slice the giant sheets into box shapes. ✂️📏

Some cardboard is made from recycled paper, which means it used to be something else—like a cereal box or school notebook! ♻️📚

Once it’s cut, folded, and ready to go, the cardboard is packed up and sent off to become boxes, packages, and more!

Pretty cool, huh? A pile of trees turns into something we use every day! 🌲➡️📦
